REUNION? YES!

What goes around comes around. Big wheels turn ever so slowly. Without a warning, January 2005, I heard my inner voice say, "it's time, you can play now". Then a series of events happened and the whole band is ready to go. How? Why? Again, I don't know. December 2004, you couldn't have moved us to do it with a bulldozer. When I consider the state of the world today, some things have changed. The length of your hair is no longer an issue. Other things have not changed in these 40 years, only the names and faces. People are searching their hearts and minds, and the country is divided by a terrible war.

The time has come to play the Electric Liturgy again in 2007 and when we do, all five of the ORIGINAL members will be there. That we are all still alive and eager to do it again is a miracle, considering two months ago, it was the furthest thing from our minds. As of now, the band has officially regrouped. I can't exactly say reunited because we never actually broke up. We are reissuing the demo, writing new material and considering a tour, depending on how we feel at the time. There is also Goodstock 2007. In May 12, 2005 we had our first rehearsal in 22 years. It wasn't hard. We sounded the same as if we had practiced only yesterday. I think I can explain it like this: have you ever hit the snooze button on your alarm, or awakened on your own and looked at the clock and rolled back over, and in a minute you look at the clock again and 10 minutes, or even hours have passed, but it felt like only seconds? That's how it is.

It's now fall 2006. Since May, 2005 we have gotten together several more times and finished a new album ( available soon) and made amazing progress. The music is hotter than ever. The 1968 demo CD is available, and so are posters and T-shirts. We have recovered some unreleased songs, and found our RCA recording are now collectors items all over the world. We have a radio show on www.rocket88.8m.com and podcasts from this website. Goodstock is on schedule for 2007. Get ready to park your head in the Mind Garage once again. Let us hear from you!
